DVD Description
Jenny Taylor (Amanda Bynes) has found her ideal man who she just knows would sweep her off her feet. The only problem? He's Jason Masters (Chris Carmack), the world's biggest rock star. Hoping for a chance to get close to her idol, Jenny takes a job in his favourite Caribbean resort with her best friend Ryan (Jonathan Bennett). When Jason is washed overboard in a storm, Jenny jumps in to save him and the pair find themselves stranded on a seemingly-deserted tropical island. Jenny discovers that they have landed mere miles away from the resort, but instead of telling Jason the truth she lets him believe they are stranded so she can make him fall in love with her. But as Jenny's plans fall apart, she begins to realise her personal paradise may have been closer to home all the time...

nice location but story a bit uninteresting
Lovewrecked will appeal mainly to young teenagers.If you like bright,sunny,colourful islands with lots of green palm trees in sight then this is a film worth seeing.The story however and the humour in the film are not so good and I think a little confusing at times especially when people talk too fast.I bought this film because it had chris carmack - of OC fame in it - and he was convincing as the arrogant and talentless rock star who is adored the world over - presumably for his looks.For interesting and humorous dialogue in a sunny location get the OC instead.And for a better impersonation of mary-kate and ashley and jennifer aniston buy any of the films that they star in instead of this one with amanda bynes.

Hilairious!
This film is really funny, mainly because of the 2 stars Amanda Bynes and Chris Carmack, I remember reading the plot years ago, thinking it sounded cool and then having to wait a few years to actually see it, but the wait was worth it as it is really funny. The setting for the film is beautiful and watching Chris Carmack being a rock god is worth the price alone! Amanda Bynes excels in comedy roles and I am looking forward to seeing more of her in the future!

a light-hearted teen movie
This film was fine to watch - a fairly good cast which resulted in a well-acted movie. some comedy, some romance so could be deemed as a bit of a chick flick.

This is not going to make movie of the year, but is perfectly watchable and fun - could watch again with no trouble, but wouldnt actually rush out to buy it.

buy / rent this movie if you just wanna chill out with some popcorn and a drink without having to analysis every scene.
