	Reach For The Sky [1956] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.72 The RAF life of the late Sir Douglas Bader - lose your legs flying, then become a Spitfire ace with tin legs as well as a damned fine commander. Real stiff upper lip stuff. Splendid.
	An Englishman Abroad [1983] Buy used from: £9.95 Tale of a chance meeting of an actress with the damned traitor Guy Burgess, whose former idealism for the reds just can't be squared with the realities of Moscow life, as he yearns for Blighty again.
	Private's Progress [1956] Buy used from: £30.00 Classic British comedy from all the usual suspects, Ian Carmichael and Terry-Thomas amongst them. A tale of rotters and dodgers in the wartime British army. Shocking !
	Two Way Stretch [1960] Peter Sellers, Lionel Jefferies and Bernard Cribbins amongst others star in this story of prison life and lovable rogues carrying out a very British robbery. Top drawer !
	Carry On Abroad [1972] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.59 Unrestained slapstick humour, British style, at it's best. It's the one where all the favourites from the gang head off to Spain on holiday and find themselves in a half built hotel. Heaps of gags.
	The Importance Of Being Earnest [1952] Buy used from: £17.95 Damned fine wit from a couple of real British cads. Marvellous. Nothing more to say.
	The Man Who Would Be King [1975] Buy used from: £4.88 By jove. This is the sort of stuff that empires are made of. A boys own imperial trek of monumental proportions set in the days when the British Raj was all about adventurism. Absolutely top hole !
	Italian Job, The [1969] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.48 Classic British crime caper where we really see off those damned foreigners. Lovable film from start to end with a fine array of British actors. Hurrah !
	From Russia with Love [1963] Buy new: £19.99 / Used from: £2.77 One of the best James Bond films - this one has a certain class and style that excessive action scenes in later films could never recreate. Packed with memorable scenes. Damned fine stuff !
	The Cruel Sea [1953] Buy used from: £4.75 One if the best WWII films ever made. Stern British seamanship to fight off the cruel sea and the jerry submariners together. Should be standard issue to all Royal Navy recruits.
