	The Elephant Man [1980] Buy new: £17.99 / Used from: £4.50 Lynch's first masterpiece, the film that got him noticed after his inaccessible debut Eraserhead ... great performances from Hopkins and Hurt. A must see.
	The Straight Story [1999] Buy used from: £4.25 David Lynch and Disney? Huh? Well, somehow it works. Oh boy, does it work ... this is a brilliant, atmospheric film and a welcome addition to the old-man-on-a-road-trip genre.
	Mulholland Drive [2002] Buy new: £19.99 / Used from: £3.29 His latest offering, and his only feature length offering in three years, is a much talked-about and controversial rubik's cube of a movie ... non-linear and weird, this is Lynch at his best.
	Blue Velvet [1986] Buy used from: £4.00 After the poor box office performance of 'Dune', this got people talking about Lynch all over again. A memorable, slimy little performance from Dennis Hopper as the villain here.
	Lost Highway [1997] Buy used from: £13.00 Definitely one of my personal favourite Lynch films, 'Lost Highway' is once again a weird and wonderful non-linear experience, right up there with Dune and Mulholland Drive.
	Wild At Heart [1991] Buy used from: £4.49 Wild at Heart stars Nicholas Cage and Laura Dern in a Lynchian retelling of the wizard of Oz ... it's got some great moments, but it's not among his best.
	Eraserhead [1976] Buy used from: £22.99 Eraserhead is most definitely only a movie for pure Lynch fans and those who enjoy strange, artistic cinema ... a disturbing and memorable indie movie which shows the full depth of Lynch's imagination
	Dune -- Two-disc Special Edition [1984] Buy used from: £8.75 Lynch didn't like the novel of 'Dune', and he was much more interested in experimenting with special effects and weird set pieces. Still, it was one of my favourites as a kid.
	Twin Peaks: Complete Season 1 [1990] Buy used from: £22.94 Well, those are his movies ... but you can't have a David Lynch list without mentioning his brilliant tv series 'Twin Peaks' which made him known around the world.
	Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me [1992] Buy used from: £7.50 A sequel/prequel to Twin Peaks.
