	Sapphire and Steel: The Complete Series [1979] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £27.95 If you have the choice, buy this Region 1 boxset of the classic series. It has extras, including commentaries by the series creator P.J.Hammond. The overall presentation is excellent.
	The Signalman [1976] Buy used from: £29.95 Based on the classic ghost story by Dickens. An isolated railway signalbox is home to a haunted railway worker. The atmosphere is pure Sapphire and Steel, and well worth a look.
	All Fall Down (Sapphire and Steel) by David Bishop Buy new: £9.99 / Used from: £9.98 Daring, and surprising. The third audio adventure is a must. If you can only afford one Big Finish adventure, make it this one.
	Barrow Hill (PC DVD) Buy new: £8.68 / Used from: £9.00 Barrow Hill is a great adventure game for the PC, with loads of S&S style atmos and eeriness. Highly recommended to fans of the show.
	Daisy Chain (Sapphire and Steel) by Joseph Lidster Buy new: £9.89 / Used from: £6.49 This audio adventure split the fans. Daring update, or pushing the format too far? Joseph Lidster wrote a confident, and surprising story, which is not to be missed.
	A Warning To The Curious (BBC Ghost Story For Christmas) [1972] Sinister and beautiful. This 1972 film version of M.R.James classic ghost story is bound to please Sapphire and Steel fans. Minimal setting, and a partly seen ghost. Definite influence.
	Dark Fall: The Journal (PC) Buy new: £12.42 / Used from: £12.44 Look closely at this excellent PC adventure game, and you'll find many Sapphire and Steel references. A deserted station hotel, abandoned railway station, disembodied souls. No blood, or violence.
	Dark Fall 2: Lights Out (PC) Buy new: £9.75 / Used from: £8.50 A deserted Lighthouse. The ghosts of the keepers. Connections to the Flannan Isle mystery. This is pure Sapphire and Steel storytelling/investigation. Great ghosthunting adventure game for the PC.
	Classic Victorian and Edwardian Ghost Stories (Wordsworth Classics) by Rex Collings Buy used from: £0.01 An excellent collection of ghost stories to please every Sapphire and Steel Fan. From the traditional, to the downright strange. Light a candle, open the book, and scare yourself silly.
	The Woman in Black [1989] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £19.99 A wonderful adaptation of the classic ghost story. The production quality is high, and the atmosphere is electric. Sapphire and Steel should have been assigned.
	Sapphire And Steel - Assignments 1-3 [1979] Buy used from: £21.00 If you have to buy region 2, this boxset is a must. The three disks, (in not very polished packaging), contain the first three stories and a few pleasant extras.
	Sapphire And Steel - Assignments 4-6 [1979] Buy used from: £30.00 This second region 2 Boxset contains the last 3 stories and a few extras. The presentation and picture quality is not as good as the Region 1, but it's more than adequate.
	Doctor Who: Complete BBC Series 2 - Limited Edition 'Cyberman Head' Box Set with Lenticular Postcard (Exclusive to Amazon.co.uk) [2005] Buy new: £42.96 / Used from: £38.67 Doctor Who's second return season (2007) features two very Sapphire and Steel-like stories. The Idiots Lantern and Fear Her.
	The Bunker - The Evil Is Within [2002] Buy used from: £4.50 Something nasty is hiding in the bowels of a German WWII bunker. Creepy noises, partially seen ghosts and a chilling atmosphere. This effective horror earns its place on this Sapphire and Steel list.
	Doctor Who: Series 1 - Volume 3 [2005] by . Buy new: £6.98 / Used from: £1.99 Buy this Doctor Who dvd for one story, 'The Empty Child'. It's as close to new television Sapphire and Steel are likely to get. Creepy, dark, in a WWII setting. Great story and direction.
	Ultraviolet - Complete Series (2 Disc Set) [1998] Buy used from: £38.89 A revelation when first broadcast; serious sci-fi fantasy. The two shadowy agents (March and Vaughn) are very Sapphire and Steel, blond cold beauty and silent male observer.
	Morpheus A spooky non-violent adventure game. A ship, frozen in the ice, offers time travel exploration to several well realised locations; from victorian docks to old fairgraounds.
