Best film you never saw. This takes the humour of Catch22 or MASH, and applies it to modern life in America via the dating game. Funniest film I ever saw: then the ending kills parts of you! It hurts.

This is such a stonking farce. It's 1984 minus the revolution. Big Brother slips in through the back door. It's Blair's Britain prophesied, with plastic surgery and great visual play.

Ace film. Kaufmann has one fifth the brains of Thomas Pynchon, and that's loads for a filmmaker. He's actually thinking in ways I didn't ever expect to see cinema try.

Much joy watching the design and the fluidity of these stop-motion wierdies. Also, Danny Elfman (composing AND singing) at his most playful. Dvd extras, very nice.

Disney's technical masterpiece. The look of the scenes is great, but it's the morality of the tale that really get you. Nobody dares preach to kids now, that's why they're all drugged-up bank robbers.

One of the best statements anybody ever made in film. Still highly relevant.
