	Emanuelle in America [1977] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Bonkers mix of hardcore porn and snuff movie violence that could only come from Joe d'amato.Would require an R-18 in the UK.US DVD from Blue Underground is uncut and looks great.
	Eaten Alive [1981] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £7.63 Amazingly this cannibal film from Umberto Lenzi was never banned.This was made from bits of other cannibal movies with new footage.Cut by nearly 6mins in the UK but uncut in US thanks to Shriek Show.
	Jungle Holocaust [1979] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £6.99 Another cannibal movie to slip the net.Ruggero Deodato made this before Cannibal Holocaust.Well made with good scope photography.Cut in UK by 3mins 45.Uncut in US thanks to Shriek Show.
	Men Behind the Sun [1989] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £14.99 The most graphic and disturbing movie available on Amazon.This Japanese POW sickie should be viewed with caution.Would never be passed by the BBFC.
	The Blind Dead Collection [2005] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Excellent and atmospheric Spanish zombies series.The first two movies in the UK box set are cut but the Blue Underground region 1 set is complete.The old Anchor Bay US DVD is also cut.
	Beyond the Darkness: Buio Omega [1979] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £7.96 More sick euro horror from Joe D'amato.Not available in the UK but Shriek Show's region 1 DVD is uncut.
	Maniac [1980] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £164.07 Similar but better to Driller Killer with superb FX from Tom Savini.UK version is cut by 58secs but region free US DVD is intact.Both have similar extras but the US disc has a DTS-ES sound mix.
	Cut and Run [1985] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £8.03 Soft and hard versions of this Deodato movie were shot.The former turned up on VHS here in the 80s.Anchor Bay US present the hard and very gory version here on a region free DVD.Unavailable in the UK.
	Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS [1974] Buy used from: £27.19 Well made 1974 Canadian nazi exploitation movie.Never released in UK so it never made video nasty status.Uncut in US from Anchor Bay with a stunning widescreen transfer and entertaining commentary.
	The New York Ripper [1982] (NTSC) Buy used from: £13.97 Lucio Fulci's sickest and sleeziest movie to date.Only available in the UK on a cut VHS tape from Vipco.Anchor Bay US have an uncut region free DVD in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen.
	Mark of the Devil [1969] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £7.00 Witchfinder General inspired movie starring Udo Kier.Not overly graphic but still cut by 36secs in UK.Region 1 Blue Underground version is uncut with an interesting commentary track.
	Erotic Nights of the Living Dead [1979] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Hardcore porn and Fulci style zombies from Joe D'amato.Shriek Show have both hardcore and soft versions available.Hardcore version would be an R-18 in the UK.
	City of the Living Dead [1981] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £6.57 Great Lucio Fulci zombie flick that never made the nasties list.UK version from Vipco has an ok transfer and audio commentary.US Anchor Bay version has a superb transfer,5.1 sound but no commentary.
	Shock Waves [1977] (NTSC) Not a gore film but an extremely atmospheric low budget zombie classic with great performance from Peter Cushing.The region free Blue Underground DVD looks as good as low budget movie can.Good extras.
	Amazonia: The Catherine Miles Story [1985] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £5.56 A late entry cannibal movie.Engaging and gory enough but badly dubbed.Not available in the UK but uncut in the US from Shriek Show.A good quality Dutch DVD is also available uncut.
	Zombie Holocaust [1979] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £8.95 Released on VHS in the 80s heavily cut and avoided the nasties list.Uncut version is out in the UK now but region1 version has more extras.Entertaining and very gory.
	Burial Ground: The Nights of Terror [1981] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £10.24 Pre-cut to avoid the nasties list in the 80s this is now uncut in the UK from Vipco and US from Shriek Show.The Vipco version is re-titled The Zombie Dead.
	The Mondo Cane Collection [1973] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £85.00 National Geographic on acid.Gorey,disturbing and very un PC these Italian documentaries contain shocking material.Blue Underground's 8DVD set is expensive but worth a look.
	Emmanuelle and the Last Cannibals [1978] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £11.06 Joe D'amato's black Emanuelle cannibal movie.Softcore this time but plenty of gore.UK DVD is cut by over 1min but Shriek Shows region1 DVD is uncut.Hardly Cannibal Holocaust but good fun.
	Contraband [1980] Buy used from: £7.18 Lucio Fulci's only crime flick.As to be expected from Fulci over the top with gore making this worth a look.Unavailable in UK but Blue Undergrounds region free DVD is uncut.
	Day of the Dead [1986] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £5.93 3rd zombie movie from Romero is also one the goriest around.Uncut in the UK but the US DVD from Anchor Bay is packed with extras,has an excellent transfer and DTS-ES sound.
	Class Of 1984 Buy used from: £8.99 This cult classic is available for the first time on DVD in the UK.It is cut so maybe wait for the US release from Anchor Bay that should be out in Feb.
	Sadomania [1981] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £12.18 Jess Franco WIP movie.Cut for its Uk release but Blue Undergrounds region 1 DVD is uncut.Very odd movie though!
	Xtro [1983] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £6.15 Xtro was on the nasties list but this low budget British sci-fi flick is hardly nasty.Unavailable in the UK but Image have a region 1 DVD.A 2DVD German version is also available but rare.
