	Metropolis [1927] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £29.65 Metropolis - Fritz Lang made in this silent film in 1927. Machinery plays a role in the strife of rich and poor in 2026. Powerful imagery.
	Delicatessen [1991] Buy used from: £10.50 Delicatessen - Dir Jean-Pierre Jeunet's film in post apocalyptic France. Amazing plot, characters, acting, scene timing. A dark humor fest.
	The City of Lost Children [1995] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £7.99 City of Lost Children - Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet makes another cult classic. Future grit to match BladeRunner, far more surreal. A psychedelic future.
	Hardware - M.A.R.K 13 [1990] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Hardware - Post-apocalyptic cyberpunk horror/adventure. Incredible acting, beautiful imagery and story, haunting theme song. Hesitate to call it a B-movie.
	Strange Days [1996] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £1.49 Strange Days - Great scifi thriller with sim-stim cyberpunk. Angela Basset steals the show, Ralph Fiennes is ok. Written by James Cameron. (Rape raises violence level unnecessarily.)
	They Live [1989] Buy used from: £16.90 They Live - Classic B-movie scifi, gets more true by the day. Go Roddy Piper!
	Silent Running [1971] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £4.99 Silent Running - incredible film with Bruce Dern. Is nature intrinsically important?
	Logan's Run [1976] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £6.95 Logan's Run - Another classic view of the future. Dated now, but a great film about breaking from cultural pressures.
	eXistenZ [1999] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £2.42 eXistenz - explore a scifi video gaming world. David Cronenberg keeps it creepy. Jennifer Jason Leigh and Jude Law. A perverted Matrix.
	Contact (Special Edition) [1997] Buy new: £3.87 / Used from: £2.44 Contact - Robert Zemeckis directed this convoluted encounter with aliens, featuring Jodie Foster. Based on a Carl Sagan book.
	Starman [1984] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £3.78 Starman - John Carpenter did a good job at making humans kind to a kind alien.
	The Last Starfighter [Collector's Edition] (REGION 1) (NTSC) [1984] Buy used from: £5.64 The Last Starfighter - Why do I like this film? I guess b/c it does well what no other films have -- a young kid joins a bunch of aliens and becomes a hero. Well done!
	Deep Impact - Special Edition [1998] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £3.22 Deep Impact - Tea Leoni, Morgan Freeman, & Elijah Wood take this asteroid apocalypse film to the next level. Same plot as 'Armageddon', except with depth.
	Tank Girl [1995] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £4.24 Tank Girl - Hilarious B-movie based on comic book. Could've used some help in places, but Lori Petty is great -- and Ice-T wears a kangaroo suit!
	Twelve Monkeys [1996] Buy new: £15.69 / Used from: £1.98 12 Monkeys - A scifi warning from Terry Gilliam. Bruce Willis time travels back to stop Brad Pitt's mission to end humanity.
	Brazil [1985] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £2.59 Brazil - Terry Gilliam's dystopian satire of a bureacratic future.
	Galaxy Quest [1999] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £1.98 Galaxy Quest - Tim Allen & Sigourney Weaver are hilarious in this parody of 90% of scifi TV shows. Well done! Star Trek joke.
	Escape From New York [1981] Buy new: £19.59 / Used from: £4.99 Escape from New York - Classic B-movie, Kurt Russel is a good B-movie star.
