	Emma [1996] Buy new: £3.97 / Used from: £2.80 Very much a Hollywood adaptation: pretty, but with little else.
	Sense And Sensibility (Collector's Edition) [1996] Buy new: £3.98 / Used from: £3.08 Emma Thomson's Oscar winner. It may not be very faithful but it is very good,
	Pride And Prejudice : Complete BBC Series - 10th Anniversary Edition [1995] Buy new: £6.98 / Used from: £5.99 So very good. Also, gave us Colin Firth as Darcy
	Pride & Prejudice - 2005 Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £3.05 A more realistic styled adaptation that's very emotionally deep. Just don't watch the alt end, it is terrible!
	Persuasion : Complete BBC Adaptation [1995] Buy new: £7.98 / Used from: £5.36 This one was produced at the same time as the 1995 P&P and, while not so resoundingly fab, is very good.
	Northanger Abbey [1986] Buy new: £5.44 / Used from: £2.89 Terrible, but hilarious.
	Mansfield Park [1983] Buy new: £6.51 / Used from: £4.65 I've only just bought this so I don't know what it's like yet. Looks like standard BBC adaptation fare.
	Emma [1972] Buy new: £7.20 / Used from: £4.25 I have vague memories of this from school, it was alright.
	Sense And Sensibility (BBC) [1981] Buy new: £3.78 / Used from: £2.14 Haven't seen it but no doubt it's a quality dramatisation from the BBC.
	Mansfield Park [2007] Buy new: £2.99 / Used from: £2.99 Touted as a raunchier version with a tomboy Fanny Price. Starring Billie Piper aka Rose from Dr Who.
	Mansfield Park [1999] [2000] Buy new: £4.97 / Used from: £2.35 Stylish adaptation that tries to uncover the truths behind the situations in the novels; controversial for it's inclusion of sex, slavery and hints of lesbian desire.
	Persuasion : Complete ITV Adaptation [2007] Buy new: £4.98 / Used from: £13.58 This is a lovely adaption from the clutch that came out in 2007. Has Giles from Buffy: The Vampire Slayer (Anthony Head) in it.
	Northanger Abbey [2007] Buy new: £4.98 A second adaptation for Jane Austen's least adapted novel. This is in no way as bad as the 80s version and is from the 2007 run.
	Persuasion [1971] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £5.31 This is the oldest BBC adaptation on this list. Region 1.
	Pride and Prejudice [1980] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £5.50 Adapted by Fay Weldon, this adaptation takes strong measures to include as much of the novel as possible, using VO to include Elizabeth's inner world. Region 1.
	Pride and Prejudice [1940] (REGION 1) (NTSC) Buy used from: £7.47 The oldest available adaptation which is adapted as much from Helen Jerome's play as the novel and with Aldous Huxley working on the script. Basically a screwball comedy- to the plot's detriment. R1.
