So much has now been said about the turbulent life and phenomenal career of Michael Jackson that it has become almost impossible to disentangle the man from the myth. Perhaps more than any other icon in history of popular music, Michael Jackson remains a charismatic but elusive figure of heated debate. But one fact will forever remain undisputed... his extraordinary talent for creating truly original music, loved by millions. And despite setbacks that would have ended careers of lesser men, Michael Jackson's legions of fans remain as loyal today as they have ever been and his accomplishments as the King of Pop during the 1980's will always remain some of the most impressive in music history. Featuring candid contributions from Janet Jackson, Brook Shields, Gladys Knight and from the King of Pop himself. Plus rare behind the scenes footage, this documentary dares look into the life of one of the most enigmatic and flamboyant pop stars of our time.

Nothing New Here!!!!!
Being a big MJ fan and being terribly sadden by his death I snapped up what I thought was going to be an interesting documentary about the King of Pop... guess what!?
It's pretty poor... Any MJ fan could have narrated this documentary better and probably thrown a few more facts into the mix too... It grates me when all this documentary does is use the same images, one after another, with poor backing imitations of the King of Pop's classics! It also has lame interviews too...
If you are an MJ fan do not waste your money on this rubbish then buy
Michael Jackson: The Magic and the Madness by J.Randy Taraborrelli which will give you a more in-depth understanding of the genius that was Michael Jackson!
MJ FANS - DO NOT BUY THIS!
This is without exception the WORST dvd I have ever wasted my money on!! I am a huge Michael fan and as many fans probably are doing, I am anxiously buying many things to read/watch and keep Michael alive. I wanted a documentary that provided a good biography of Michael with good images. This is DREADFUL! The narrator has an unenthusiastic, dull voice, tells a story that I could have told you in more detail when I was 10, from reading Moonwalk (the book). There are no good clips on here, the so called interviews are voice only, no visuals and the majority of Michael's music isn't real (they obviously couldn't get the rights to play them). This is a very cheaply made dvd that Michael would not be pleased with, he was a perfectionist, he would have been disgusted by this. It is probably best to stick to original dvd's, such as ''Live in Bucharest, the History DVD's etc... I would also recommend the biography 'The Magic and the Madness' for a good written account of his life and to understand the real truth behind so many things. Also, 'Life of a Legend' has excellent pictures in a hardback that can be treasured. This dvd however is not worth one pence and I only wish I could have given it 0 stars!!! I remember a documentary on tv once that showed Michael having water fights etc. in Neverland (this wasn't in the Bashir interview that was repeated on tv after Michael's death, was this because it was edited?), if anyone knows what this documentary was called or where I can find it, I would be very grateful.
Cris
This DVD was not worth its price.
There is nothing that can be considered a strong point and that would justify buying it.
Like someone else said, the songs are not even sang by Michael they are poor covers, probably because the of rights issues.
I really regret buying this DVD ans I am definitely thinking of returning the product.
