The legendary Shure vocal mic tuned to accentuate the warmth and clarity of lead and back-up vocals. Consistently the first choice of performers around the globe. The Shure SM58® is a unidirectional (cardioid) dynamic vocal microphone designed for professional vocal use in live performance, sound reinforcement, and studio recording. A highly effective, built-in, spherical filter minimizes wind and breath inchpopinch noise. A cardioid pickup pattern isolates the main sound source while minimizing unwanted background noise. The SM58 has a tailored vocal response for a sound which is a world standard. Rugged construction, a proven shock mount system, and a steel mesh grille ensure that even with rough handling, the SM58 will perform consistently. Outdoors or indoors, singing, speech - the SM58 is the overwhelming choice of professionals.

Customer Reviews
Can't go wrong.
This is a great mic, undesputably the one you should buy for your home studio or for performing live. Comes with a little bag, but you'll need to buy a cable of some sort.
I've used mine quite a bit recording on my computer, and the sound is crisp and professional.
A Classic
This is probably the most used professional mic in the World. Everyone I know that sings or needs a vocal mic seems to have one of these. They have very good operational qualities.
Perfect Vocal Microphone
Yes, as everyone is saying, this is a brilliant mic. But why? It's extremely solid, the sound quality it produces is warm and intimate, and it's great for gigging because you hardly get any feedback from a live system. And this microphone is a bargain. I've had two for several years now, and they're both still in great condition, because things just never break! Mind you, keep it in a box, preferebly in some of the original wrapping to keep the exterior finish looking sexy ;) GREAT :D
