Great for a bit of fun, but short lived3
This is a more comprehensive version of the old classic Dance Ejay (If you remember that). It is great at letting you create your own arrangements quickly with good results. However the first thing I noticed when looking around is the severe lack of sounds with a vast majority of them being taken up in the drums sections. For a Dance/techno/trance/house you think there would be a lot of focus on melodic riffs, sweeping synths and basically a lot more of everything else. For instance the Techno/trance section has a grand total of '2' pad sounds....2!

The actual UI itself is nice enough to work with, including nice simple volume adjustments of each sound, easy looping of sounds and fading. You can also apply effects to any sound you have on your arrangement nice and easily which is good. There are also a basic drum machine, strange base making thing and a couple of other gizmos which to be fair are a little short lived but could give you a few extra sounds. Additionally if you feel that way enclined you can add a video or sorts to your arrangement.

Overall a nice piece of software for easy arrangement of pre-made loops, unfortunately let down MASSIVELY by the severe lack of said loops/sounds. Over a 1000 may sound a lot but trust me when you look at it, it isn't as most of them are drum sections.

Maybe you can download additional sound banks from somewhere, but expect to pay for em.

This is Dance Ejay with less sounds and a better interface. 3/5

Good and simple to use and the price is not to bed the only problem l found was you do get a great deal of samlpe to use but as above easy to use and great sound and tracks can be made

Good if you lower your expectations3
This promised a lot, but didn't really deliver. I've played around with Dance EJ and other previous incarnations of this, and whilst it's refined its GUI, I'm still not overly impressed with the functionality of the product. I use ACID Music Studio which is twice the price, and a little overwhelming to start with, but much more powerful and successful in what it does. For example, when I tried to import a song so I could create my own edit of it (I hate the long intros and outros to dance music, so I cut them out myself!), this didn't cope very well with the beatmapping, and the manual process was simply appallingly clumsy. ACID MS does it with such ease, and has been out for quite some time now.
So, as other reviewers have said, if you consider this as a cheap-ish piece of fun, you actually get a pretty good deal. The samples are good, but don't offer enough breadth of choice. It's all good to start yourself off with, but I reckon you'll soon want to expand your requirements after a short time.
