6 Volt CAR battery Charger
Does exactly what it says on the box. Easy to use instructions, charged my Austin 7 battery from almost flat in a day. Indicator light system monitors charge state, just need to keep an eye to know when to switch off. Good value product.

What it says on the box
Difficult to find a 6V battery these days, let alone a charger. Draper have recognised a gap in the market and modified a production item to fill it, clever! What you get is a 6V charger with some useful condition indicating LEDs. The production product is 12v only with Hi/Low charge rates. The modification is to make the item 6V/12v switchable with no rate change. Some would argue that this makes the item more useful! The charge rate is set at 4.5 Amps Max. In practice this is nearer to 3A, more suitable for the physically smaller 6v CAR battery. The unit is intended for 6V lead-acid car batteries not the motorcycle sealed gel types.

useful & handy
This is an item that I bought 'just in case' .. during the last harsh winter. A bit like a fire extinguisher - an item that you should have, but hope you never have to use..!!! It's not very big - smaller than It looks on the picture - but hopefully it will do it's job if required. It looks easy to use - that,s good...! Haven't used it yet.
