KS1 Test Papers - test for before the test!
I bought these for my son who is in Year 2 and is due to take his SATS in May. He did not have a clue about comprehension tests so I got these to help him. You get sample test papers for spelling; comprehension and maths. The layout is based on old SATS tests from previous years. There is also a parents booklet to help you help your child which had some useful chapters about phonics and the basic lists of spellings which your child should know for the test. They have helped my son and he feels more confident about doing the papers and what he is expected to do. It also gave us an insight in maths as to the elements he was struggling with so we could focus on these areas to help him. I have bought the WH Smiths books in the past but I thought these test papers were better laid out.
