Letts Science Revise Guides
This is a wonderful book, well illustrated with plenty of colours. I like it's questions and answers, it has a nice glossary. it uses standard english to describe items. but it doesn't go into great detail about an issue, you may need to ask or research further to get more of an understanding. it has progress checker forms. overall it's good and worth the money.

Not enough questions
Although the information in this book is quite good, there are not enough questions. This book alone is not enough for revision, the practice questions really test if knowledge has been absorbed. I will be buying a workbook too.

KS3 Science
I like the book. It isn't fully comprehensive in some small respects so a bit of additional library work might be needed - NOT a bad thing! I like how all 3 sciences are grouped into one volume.
I like the question sections and find them as useful for the parent as the child. I will reserve judgement on how really good the book is until after the May exams. All in all extremely good value and well worth the money.

Why do schools not have such books INSTEAD OF ALL THESES PHOTOCOPIED HANDOUTSSSSSS????
