Great gift.
We bought this for our nine year old, and he loves it. We have had success raising the stick insects from the eggs you send away for and all the family are quite interested. Would recommend it as easy to care for.

Fantastic
Purchased this for my nephew who is 9 and into growing hatching and all manner of things, much to his mums disgust he loves this and calls me to let me know the status, the first one hatched a few days ago ( now named charlie ) and since then another 4 have, again much to his mums disgust, but he adores it, cannot go wrong buying this as a gift.

18 months on we still have stick insects.

They are great fun if you are in to nature and living creatures as my child is.

We were paranoid about cleaning them out regularly at first and then realised what we were throwing away included eggs.

We are now on the second generation of stick insects by leaving the eggs in the housefor a few months.
