Muay Thai: Advanced Thai Kickboxing Techniques
This is an excellent book for getting an introduction into the devastating art of Muay Thai but this is not what I would call advancced. I prefered Bob Spour Book Ultimate Muay Thai or Benny Urquidez book Practical Kick-boxing: Strategy in Training and Technique.
I would say buy Muay Thai: Advanced Thai Kickboxing Techniques, its useful & the pictures are great techniques are ok but wish it had more on techniques sparring & conditioning. You do get an insight on how they train in Thailand.

Good Foundation to a Deadly Martial Art
I've studied Muay Thai for a few years now and it is not an art of defense but of brutal counter attacks so section two in this book is invaluable. This book lays out simply how to counter punches and elbows, as well as shin and knee strikes. Also you get an introduction into some of the historical moves which are interesting to learn if you want to one day train or fight in Thailand. As far as techniques, however, thats about it and the rest of the book is dedicated to talking about Muay Thai as a sport and what training in Thailand is like. There are better books out there if you want a good all-round one on all Muay Thai techniques, but this book makes a worthy addition to a martial arts library if you already have other books on basic moves.
