About the Author
Both writer and illustrator, Michael Broad is an exciting new talent and the Jake Cake books are his first fiction titles for Puffin. The first two books in the series are The Werewolf Teacher and The Robot Dinner Lady. Michael has previously produced two picture books – Broken Bird and The Little Star Who Wished – and used to work in animation. He lives in London.

My son got hooked on Jake Cake and loves them. They are simple to read with lots of pictures to break up the text, A boy-friendly story without too much toilet humour or daft wackiness.
