GREAT ALBUM FROM AMERIE, MUCH BETTER THAN TOUCH
I love this album, i have not listened to in this album in so long. when i first got this album, . i listened to it all the time.I was a bit appreisnve at first, because her second album in my opionion failed 2 deliver. There are no bad tracks on this album my personal favoutrites are:
The intro is great-great beats

some like it- This song starts off slow then them heavy beats come, one of my favourite songs on the album.
I ALSO FORGOT LOSING YOU GREAT SONG, A BIT LIKE 1 THING BEATS WISE, BUT ITS NOT A BAD THING.
make me believe is also a brillant track.
Her ballads are also great, my favourite ballads are

paint me over- i love this ballad shows off her amazing voive.
All roads,another great ballad.
OH i almost forgot crush and crazy wonderful and thats what you are absolutley love this three songs.
crazy wonderful is about her lipstick range, i love this idea of her plugging her lipstick range in a song(GENUIS)

"I do it cause I love it" She sure does!
I have been a big fan of Amerie ever since her debut album "All I Have" hit stores (yes Amerie has had 2 studio albums), almost everyone thinks "Touch" was her debut, when infact it was her sophomore. Now 2007, Amerie is back with her third album "Because I Love It".

Amerie gets a lot of flack for her albums, (mostly complaints about lack of originality, or her 'so called' trying to be Beyonce' mission), that most people sleep on her records, when infact all of Amerie's albums are far better than anything Beyonce has came up with so far. Beyonce's albums consist of songs with non stop repetitive choruses, now I admit Amerie did this on her 2003 hit "1 Thing" but that's just one side of her - on the albums, there is so much more.

This truly is Amerie's best work to date. She delivered a beautful, fun R&B album that all her fans will be proud of. The albums leading single "Take Control" is just a glimpse of how amazing the album gets. Her unique style and vocals make Amerie stand out from the crowd (finally). The great thing with Amerie is, even when it comes to ballads, she still manages to draw you in and keep you interested. I mean, we all know that on most R&B starletts LP's when it comes to the slow jams, they pretty much suck - but not Amerie's. Infact the slows are just as as good as the up-tempos!

Standout tracks include "Some Like It", "Make Me Believe", "Take Control", "Gotta Work", "Crush", "Crazy Wonderful", "Losing U", "All Roads". As you can see, there are your more than usual standout tracks on here. If you're a fan of Brandy, Christina Milian, Ciara, you will adore this album.

It's truly great to find an album with no dud tracks. Amerie deserves a lot for this great, rare gem.

Hmmmmmm...Not as Good As 'Touch'...But...
Very Creative... this is excellent work regarding the fact that Amerie once again added the extra creativety that lacks in a lot of 'R&B'. It appears as mainstream but there is actually a higher standard of quality in the tracks, lyrically and most especially on the beats. The album is both 'Hype' yet, quite calm and Slow which are combinations that fit into most listeners taste. Many people may have issues with the fact that here Amerie used samples in a manner which isnt very clean, but in my point of view that actually adds originality to the music. You will like this album if you just give yourself time to actually like it.
