What you see is what you get
It is exactly what you expect from the picture. I'm not too sure about the health-giving properties that they claim, but it is what I wanted. The only critism, and why I didn't give it a 5/5, is that it tends to be fast - it has gained 7 minutes in a fortnight. They say this can be a problem if it is kept warm. I wear it. Is that too warm?
I bought the 17cm one and it is too large. Any smaller, though, and I think I'd have problems getting it over my hand. If I were to improve it, I would put a light on it that could be activated by squashing the sides together.
I read other critiques saying that it is too simple. I just wanted a cheap watch that I could wear playing sports, with a small overall profile, and that wouldn't get broken easily. It does all of that, but no more.
Breo problem
I bought the Breo sport 'Roam' because my Brother had one, and rated it quite highly. The watch is very comfortable, it takes a little while to get used to the layout of the display though. Now for the important stuff, after having the watch for a short while it began to lose about a minute a day, I don't know if this is anything to do with it's level of water resistance, the watch is said to be able to cope with up to a depth of 10m, it didn't get used at that depth though. About a week ago the display went barmy, jumping from hours to seconds, and the to date and. after a short while it went blank! I am really dissappointsd, as I had never had watch as comfortable as the Breo. I ordered my breo in April, it's only July, and I've had to buy myself a new watch, not a Breo!
A basic problem
One of the selling points for this watch is that it just tells the time and date but no more. Just what my wife needs with no confusing, unnecessary extras. The fundamental problem with this watch is that it isn't one. A pre-requisite of a watch is that it tells the time. This item will tell the time on the day you set it. Thereafter it will estimate the time, varying from the actual time by about an additional minute each day. The appearance and ergonomics are fine, but even for this price, a wrist watch should tell the time. Disappointing as we had high hopes for a basic solution to a time-keeping problem.
