Customer Reviews
don't waste your eyes, some people are blind
Do you want the truth ? I did not keep my book. I did not give it away. I did not return it to my library..
It's gone in the trash.
Boteach comments were rude, harshful, and sometimes filled with resentment.
Most of the time devoid of humanity. Absolutely unlike the one we would expect of a 'spiritual advisor'. It's that's what it takes. you and and could do that job ourselves, but we are wiser not to con people out of their mind.
I've read bizarre biographies, and even writings of people who thought they were disciples of the 'Unholy', to use a polite term.
I have not felt the same sickness and anger in my heart.
Whoever you are, you don't deserve to feel the same...
Try books by Tony Buzan instead. They'll take you higher and give you better insights..
Don't buy it
The author was a friend of Michael Jackson in the early part of the decade; they subsequently fell out. Michael considered the author one of the few people who really had a grudge against him. If you wish to honor Michael's memory please don't buy this book
Boycott this book!
I boycott this book. I have read the author's interview on the Larry King show, his book's introduction, his website dedicated to selling this book and most helpfully, other readers' comments on Amazon.
This is enough for me to decide never to buy this book and give my money to its author - Rabbi Shmuley. This is a cash-in and a bold breach of trust. Not convinced that Michael Jackson knew that these conversations were taped and even if he knew, that the purpose was to make them public at some stage. Would he have wished these conversations published, why not in context of his "final curtain call concerts" in London? But no, this book was published conveniently just after Michael Jackson's death for maximum effect. In addition to the author's website, the book is on sale through no less than seven publishers and outlets, among them the prestigious Barnes & Noble. But just think if nobody would buy...! I would be very proud if all MJ fans would boycott this book.
And there are other books on offer on Michael Jackson.
