...todo los besos que te debo...
For anybody who understands Spanish and in fact for those of you who don't, this is a truly great album. Estopa are quirky, fun and incredibly talented. But it has to be said that the beauty of being able to understand Spanish is being able to understand these lyrics - weird, wonderful and wacky to say the least. This music is really addictive - a mix of samba, funk - you name it, it is all there. From the poignant 'Tan Solo' through to the ingenious 'Sume y sigue', I listen to this album at least once every day and it goes with me everywhere, even back and forth on the plane to Spain as I commute back and forth! Look out for Destrangis too - equally as wacky but not quite as good as this...
Es una tarde tonta y caliente...etc
First time you hear this, you might laugh and think it's weird. Then you'll find yourself dying to hear it again, there'll just be something that sticks in your mind, it's like that. Before long, you'll be singing and dancing along, whether you speak Spanish or not. Love it.
SUPERB!!!!!!_Flamenco_Pop
I heard "Estopa" in Spain last summer and from the very beginning I adored the modern vital flamenco/bossanova beat of their songs. Next thing was of course to buy the cd so I could have them with me back home. There's freshness and originality in their music.
