Walk, eat and drink
This little book has been much used by my family and I, and we have had many lovely country walks and discovered village pubs we might never have come across. The walks all start and finish at the pub and are from 2 miles to 5.5 miles - perfect for a Sunday stroll. I liked this book so much I bought two copies! The author, according to the back cover, lives in Oakham, the county town of Rutland, and he clearly knows the area well. It's worth checking before you set off that the pub is still open!

Pub Walks
Pub walk books are great for the not too serious walker who likes to get out into the country. All walks are circular starting or ending at a pub. Great way to get to know a county and to see how beautiful this country is, avoiding the usual tourist haunts.
