This is such a great book. It has some of the best recipes I've ever had and some of the foods were simply delicious. It is also organzied well and really isn't that much of a hassle to deal with. I highly recommend this one to anyone who wants some yummy food to help them with weight loss. I also liked and would also recommend Goodbye, Fatty! Hello, Skinny! How I Lost Weight And Still Ate The Foods I Loved-Without Dieting.
success!
after buying the first cook yourself thin cookbook and shifting half a stone in a couple a weeks i was over the moon when i found this one on amazon. the food is lovely and has really helped me shift the bulge!! im not much of a cook (to say the very least) so luckily there are simple steps and the food turns out brilliantly! my boyfriend loves it too! the chicken tikka is a favourite and the koftas went down a treat. the soups are also lovely for a change at lunchtime. i really haven't stuck to anything before because i love food way to much but by using simple tricks like adding flavour with herbs and swapping for low fat yoghurt or creme fraiche, things im not capable of doing to food without guidance!, i havent been hungry and the weight is dropping. win-win all round!
YUM!
This is in all honesty the best cook book I have ever bought. I have been using it religiously. I am getting married in May and since giving birth 9 months ago have ballooned from a size 6 to a size 14 so am seeking any way possible to lose weight. I'm also trying to gently get my fiance slim without him knowing! This book is my kitchen bible.
The recipes are, as the title suggests, really simple and often utilise ingredients that you'd have in your cupboards. My fiance is hooked on takeaway food of any kind and hasn't had any since I got this book! He loves the creamy chicken curry and the lamb koftas. There's even a drinks menu in the back. Each recipe shows a calorie count and has useful tips to improve the dish. It has a "Feed Me" section for those who like a big portion and "Chicken" - the greatest of God's birds(!)
This is a must for anyone trying to lose weight without starving themselves or even who's just trying to eat healthily. The recipes are easily adapted to put your own spin on them and there's something for everyone. It's got me loving cooking again. Best £9 I've spent in years! I'll be buying the other one.
