Great little book!
As a person nearing retirement, I looked for a publication that would give me hope, motivation, and up to date information on surviving and earning extra cash in retirement, and I was not disappointed in this little book.
Rosie Staal has done her research well and provided the readers with excellent and inspiring information. The book is mainly case studies of people who have already retired and are earning extra coppers! It covers everything from self-employment to turning a hobby into a money earner.
Each section, based on real stories, has a similar format that includes information on: Why there are still working, what they are doing, how it came about, whether it is working well for them, their earnings, and the pros and cons of the work.
Everything you might need to motivate you to consider earning in retirement is contained in the book, including information on they reasons why you might want, or need to work, tax situations, setting up a business, and a list of useful websites.
If you are approaching, or already retired, this easy to read little book could be a great resource.
