	Sony PLAYSTATION 3 Console (80 GB Model) Buy new: £314.75 / Used from: £208.00 The PS3 makes a great Blu-ray player - I would recommend buying a remote control though for ease of use. Plus there's the obvious bonus of an awesome games console as well.
	Samsung BD-P1500/XEU - Blu-ray Disc Player Buy new: £149.99 / Used from: £94.00 My PS3 is in my bedroom on a smaller TV so I bought this for the lounge. It's a decent player, although on some discs it doesn't remember where you were if you switch it off which can be frustrating.
	Fantastic Four [Blu-ray] [2005] Buy new: £8.98 / Used from: £6.41 This came with my PS3. I was impressed with the picture and sound quality but the film itself is utter garbage.
	Casino Royale [Blu-ray] [2006] Buy new: £10.98 / Used from: £5.49 Also came with the PS3. I didn't bother to watch it because I already owned the regular DVD and didn't have a Blu-ray in the lounge at the time. I kind of wish I'd kept it now.
	Ghost Rider [Blu-ray] [2007] Buy new: £7.98 / Used from: £5.72 Also came with the PS3. I watched half of this over a year ago and have never watched the rest so clearly I didn't find it interesting enough to watch the rest.
	I Am Legend [Blu-ray] [2007] Buy new: £8.98 / Used from: £7.65 The enhanced picture quality of Blu-ray comes to the fore during the scenes of the empty New York city. I prefer the alternative ending, I think it makes more sense.
	The Matrix/Matrix Reloaded/Matrix Revolutions [Blu-ray] [1999] Buy new: £14.98 / Used from: £16.49 I remember being wowed by the difference between the VHS and DVD versions of the first movie years ago. The DVD to Blu-ray transition is not quite as spectacular but this is still highly recommended.
	The Dark Knight (2 Discs) [Blu-ray] Buy new: £9.98 / Used from: £8.00 The best Batman film yet, and one of the best discs you can get to show off your Blu-ray player. Heath Ledger deserves all the praise he's been given for his portrayal of the Joker.
	Quantum of Solace [Blu-ray] [2008] Buy new: £14.98 / Used from: £9.49 Amazing picture and sound quality but possibly my least favourite Bond film ever. I didn't have a clue what was going on, and even the action didn't make up for it as everything is shot too close-up.
	Twilight [Blu-ray] [2008] Buy new: £9.88 / Used from: £6.50 I had no interest at all in this film but I watched it at my brother's house and thought it was awesome. A great new take on a vampire story and very well acted.
	Terminator 2: Judgment Day: Skynet Edition Steel Tin [Blu-ray] [1991] Buy used from: £29.99 I haven't watched this fully yet but it seems pretty cool, I know it's a great movie. Don't throw away the bit of card by the way or you won't be able to watch the Ultimate Directors Cut version.
	Bolt Combi Pack (Blu-ray + DVD) [2008] Buy new: £10.98 / Used from: £10.19 I saw this on holiday and it almost reaches the dizzy heights of the best Pixar films (i.e. Wall-E, Cars, Monsters Inc.). with lots of amusing moments such as Bolt's fear of styrofoam packing pellets!
	Valkyrie [Blu-ray] [2008] Buy new: £17.98 / Used from: £16.90 Not quite as action-packed as I expected (although in fairness that's not a bad thing, as the plot is very good). Comes with a 'Digital Copy' you can transfer to your PC and iPod which is pretty neat.
	Fast & Furious 1-4 Box Set [Blu-ray] [2001] Buy new: £33.98 / Used from: £29.00 The Blu-ray upgrade for films 1-3 is worth it for fans. The fourth film was really disappointing, with fewer driving scenes, and most of those were dominated by CGI. It's trying to be too serious.
	Star Trek XI (3-Disc Edition) with Bonus Digital Copy [Blu-ray] [2009] Buy new: £17.58 I like Sci-fi but never got into to Star Trek, but the trailers looked awesome and I enjoyed this more than I expected. Digital copy is nice, but is an extra special features disc really necessary?
