Customer Reviews
Absolute Rip-Off
I have just purchased a Sony DCR-H62 mini DV camcorder which i am very pleased with.Unfortunately, this camcorder does not have a seperate charging unit. The battery itself needs to be charged directly via the camcorder plugged into the mains.I needed a seperate charger to charge the spare battery which is more convenient.
I was shocked that Sony are ripping off customers for what is effectively a cheap simple plastic charging unit such as this.Because this is a Sony branded accessory they are charging rip-off prices for their products.Sony seem to have it all taped up in their product design. Why supply a seperate dedicated charging unit with their camcorders when they can extort more money out of their customers by charging sky high prices for their accessories. This is extortion. What a rip-off.There are much cheaper alternatives elsewhere.Shame on Sony.
