not much more to say...
Damn it!
The other reviewer already said everything!!
I completely agree with everything said by the other reviewer.
The quality of animation dips and rises from episode to episode and the fight scenes don't really feel all that exciting.
The stories are a fairly predictable affair and always end with some sort of moral message.
I didn't find myself becoming board at all so things can't be too bad.
I will repeat what I said in the review for vol 7,1. This is exclusively filler and is not essential by any means, but there is some fun to be had here so don't completely ignore this set.
Thanks for reading!
More filler
This set of thirteen Naruto episodes continues with the filler episodes of rather dubious quality. The first four episodes of the set conclude the Land of Sea storyline in a predictable way. Following this is another four episodes of really quite poor episodes which although funny in places, are nevertheless forgettable. The final five episodes in the set begin the Land of Stars storyline which despite being very predictable as well, is probably one of the better filler storylines so far.
As I have already said, many of the episodes in this set are rather poor quality with some rather terrible comedy plotlines and some rather week writing. The exception to this I the Land of Stars storyline which, as I have already said, is easily one of the better storyline and despite some trouble with predictability it is still interesting and has some nice emotional moments as well. If it wasn't for this I probably would have given this set only two stars but the Land of Stars storyline easily bumps it up to three stars in all.
