Customer Reviews

Going Native in Alicante5
I've had a property in the Alicante region for nearly three years and I thought I knew the area reasonably well. This book has proved me wrong - it has provided a huge range of information about my area that I didn't know and given me places to visit that no other guide book has even mentioned. If you are intending to purchase property in this area or even just pay it a visit, this book will greatly enhance your experience

Reads like a blog2
I purchased this book for a recent trip to Alicante city where I planned to wander through the old town, eat where the locals ate and just enjoy some time in the sun. Unfortunately the book was geared more toward people who were planning to actually move to the region. The writing style in the book leaned toward the very informal - it felt like I was reading a lightweight blog! If you're planning to move to the area, there might be some useful information here but you're just as likely to find that info with a cursory internet search.

Detailed and esay to read5
This book not only manages to explain everything you need to know about this region of Spain, but it does so in an easy to read, chatty style, making this book a pleasure to browse through. Susan gives you all the facts while still writing in a personal way, rather than the usual textbook style of most guidebooks. whether you are thinking of spending all your time, or just a couple fo days, in Alicante, this book is a must!
