Customer Reviews

Outstanding value for the iPod user5
I bought one of these to replace a factory fit unit in an older Mondeo. With an ISO cable adapter and a facia surround the install took 15 minutes. The unit is very nice looking and packed with features/settings for the price tag. I bought it especially for the full-speed iPod connection that this unit has and wasn't disappointed. The way Alpine have designed this head unit to control connected iPods remotely is excellent. I have my 160gb Classic in the glovebox and can select any song from the Alpine alone. Track skipping is instant and the sound quality from the iPod is perfect. Text display is clear, although the screen rarely displays a track title in one go so has to scroll/wipe. Overall I would recommend this unit to anyone who is not interested in the high-end features of more expensive models and needs a really good iPod solution.
