Excellent Book.
I was unsure whether to get this book or the encyclopedia of plants by the same author. But i'm glad i choose this one as some of the aquarium setups are really cool.

I wouldn't recommend it if your looking for a reference book but if your looking for some inspiration in setting up an aquarium it's definatly worth it.

Buy your Amano books first, but for a practical NATURAL point of view, you won't get better than this book in my opinion.
The range of natural environments for each continent is generous, with a planted example for each. Setup information for someone like me (new back to the hobby after a break of about 25 years) to get the best out of your plants and give your fish the environment that will help them feel comfortable and calm, is brilliant. This type of fishkeeping relaxes the fish and ultimately gives them the best surroundings for potentially breeding and flourishing.
If like me you are a fan of natural fishkeeping this book is priceless.

it is very nice for evening readings :) ++ for beginners but will be boring for advance aqua-users
