Customer Reviews

Do believe the hype5
Well, I must admit I was a bit of a naysayer, thinking they can't be as good as everyone claims. But blow me down, if this isn't remarkably good. Granted, it's only one song, but it's a cracker. And ten times better through headphones, late at night, to paraphrase a Tadpoles album.

Think Gang of Four mixed with early Roxy Music and Sesame Street, and you might be no closer to the noises I hear in my head, but it's a start in mentally sifting the noise that Arcade Fire make. The guitars are a bit Tom Verlaine, the melodies a bit Belle & Sebastian, but without the feyness.

Of course, underneath all the references, they are trying for a unique sound, something highly commended in these homogenous days. It's a kitchen sink approach, something which can crash and burn horribly, but deep in their distorted pop chamber music, there is a talent to behold.

An action packed tune from the Arcade Fire4
This song seems longer than it is, but I mean this in a good way, on a first listen I wasnt a fan but it grows and grows on you, if you don't dig the arcade fire in general because you like something a bit louder, this is your song.

I really suggest you get this single before it gets deleted I expect one day it'll be very valuable and unobtainable.
