Editorial Reviews

Review
'best described as a classic....the finest book ever written on bass fishing' Angler's Mail 'one of the finest books about the species....rarely fails to provide answers to all those tricky questions that bass require anglers to solve' Sea Angler 'It had me spellbound from the first chapter, with its chunks of tale-telling followed by snippets of useful information. If you have any interest at all in bass, this book is the most modern reference available.' The Angling Times 'Anglers new to bass angling and those who are already experienced will find this a very useful book to add to their collection.' Sea Fishing

Customer Reviews

Deservedly called 'The Bass Fisherman's Bible'.5
This book succeeds where others fail is it concentrates on a single subject, Shore fishing for Sea Bass as opposed to attempting to cover the wider and more general area of Sea Fishing. Well written and illustrated with the authority earned by their qualifications and immense experience of this subject.
Concise detail of all aspects relating to habitat, best conditions, venues and methods employed to catch this King of our shore. Their love of and dedication to the sport shines through in every paragraph.
Fishermens tales, without exageration, that hold you to the pages. Logical thinking and years of experience imparted in a manner that cannot fail to leave you more learned and understanding of this great Fish.
One book I'll be reluctant to lend out because of its value.

Hooked on Bass4
For beginner and old hand this book covers a wide aspect of Bass fishing around the UK. Helpful advise and tips about rigs, baits and where and when to catch, injected with some humour and fisherman tales. If you get nothing else from this book, which i am sure will not be the case, you may have a chuckle to yourself. Informative with some very good pictures as well. Potentially this will become the Bass fishers bible.

Ace Book5
Bass are very exciting fish to hunt and these two chaps have spent a longtime doing just that. Their wide and keen experience has been collatedinto a book that is enjoyable to read, written in frank terms, angler toangler. This is definately the type of specialised book that the dedicatedshore fisherman must have on the shelf. A wealth of knowledge. Tales arewell written.
