About the Author
Michael Wohl is best known as one of the principal designers of Final Cut Pro, a role he held for more than five years. He has also had success as a director and editor for more than 15 years. Michael is also the author of Apple Pro Training Series: Advanced Editing Techniques in Final Cut Pro 5 (December 2005) and Advanced Editing Techniques with Final Cut Pro (September 2003)

A definite "must buy" book for FCP 6 editors
This book is superbly presented with colour illustrations throughout. Careful consideration has gone into the included media to better demonstrate the points being discussed and this is particularly evident in the trimming chapter. I learned more about trimming in that chapter than I ever had before it. This book will both instruct you in the ways of FCP, teach you good editing practice and improve your work-flow considerably. At the end of each chapter are a set of questions which ensure you've absorbed and understood the salient and important points (they are also reminiscent of the questions you will get in your Apple Pro Certification exam should you decide to take one). An absolute must buy for all FCP editors regardless of their level. 5 stars all around!
