Full Rubber Jacket
Lint magnet, yes; a little bulky, yes; makes the hold button tricky to use, yes;
However, if you're after something to protect your iPod when you take it into rough situations e.g. down to the beach, then the iSkin is better than any other product I've come across in my quest.
It fits the iPod snuggly and the hard clear screen fits gasket-like under the front edge.
I've read elsewhere that people had a problem with the small size of the hole for the headphone jack - well I've tried three pairs of Sony 'phones and they all fit fine.

Hairy
First... If you slot anything into the bottom of your iPod wider than the plug (such as an iTrip --though obviously I don't have one of those, as their use is currently illegal) you have to remove the case.

Also, those of you who have pets will know that ownership of certain clothing is no longer an option. Such as velvet, certain cotton garments, etc. This case has similar hair-attracting qualities, and once you've taken it out of the packet will immediately suck all of the animal hair in a five mile radius onto itself, thereby marring it's beautiful, rubber lines.

But, the positive: If you want something hardwearing, and durable then this is for you. It's made of a tough, lightweight substance which easily protects the oh-so-fragile iPod in your bag, glove-compartment, draw, etc. The wheel-area is thin enough that I have had no trouble with accessing the iPod through it.

If you want a vegetarian alternative, and don't mind a hairy iPod, then this is for you.

The beauty and the beast
Do you prefer your Ferrari racing down the autostrada or under a dust cover in a heated garage? Does a top model look best on the catwalk or dressed in flippers and diving gear? That's your choice with the iSkin. It protects one of the beautiful pieces of modern design - the iPod video - to such an extent that the slim and serene becomes chunky and clumsy.

True, it offers great protection for both screen and body of the iPod. Everything works fine, it doesn't take long to remove and I shall use it regularly. But it instantly removes one of the nicest features of the IPod video - the sheer tactile pleasure of handling and looking at a great piece of design.

How come my Siemens mobile phone has spent two years in my pocket, fighting it out with keys and change, and hasn't a mark on the screen or casing? So, let Apple speak to mobile phone makers about durability - and until then put up with this unpleasant, but sadly essential, accessory.
