Customer Reviews

Brides, buy this for your Mums and Mum-in-Law to be!4
This little book (it would fit into your handbag) blends the traditional with the modern to provide all Mums of Brides (and I'm sure the Groom's Mum would love it too) with a virtually foolproof guide to getting through from the engagement to the wedding without the family falling out over the arrangements!
It gives helpful advice for when to gently intervene to prevent mishaps occurring, also when to be tactful and keep what you really think to yourself.
As usual with the books that Confetti publish (and in keeping with the whole ethos of their website) this book has been written by people who have 'been there, done that, got the tshirt' - it is also written in a very readable style.
You can either read this book from cover to cover, or keep dipping in and out of it as you need to.

Brilliant Idea!5
Most girls don't consider what our Mum's are thinking or feeling in the run up to her little girls big day - this deals with all the issues concerned, from encouraging her to not try to take over the whole day (seemingly a common complaint of brides to be!) to when she should show some interest, and what her 'traditional' roles and responsibilities are. It also gives helpful links to the relevant areas of their website to encourage them to look there. The beauty of this book is, it is very diplomatic!

waste of money1
This booklet is about 3" square, with 1-2 sentences per page. Contains mildly interesting advice, but nothing that common sense wouldn't dictate.
A complete waste of money.
