i bought this book because i thought that it would be hand knitting with wire only. To my sad suprise the book deals with viking knitting, machine knitting and hand knitting. The projects for hand knitting are limited. If you can do all three of the techniques then the book is for you.

If you can knit...4
...then you will love this book. Unfortunately, I bought it as a non-knitter because I understood that the book would take me step by step through the process of learning to knit too. It seems though, that it helps if you have a basic understanding of knitting first, for example "I generaly use a Yarnover for an increase".....I couldn't find anywhere in the book that explained what the heck a Yarnover is, so I have given up on it. Lovely pictures and beautiful projects.
