Why not have an off switch???
Bought Iggle Piggle today for my little guy (20 months) and he has't let go of it since. It's the perfect size and shape for a toddler to hold and cuddle and he loves the sounds and music. It's instantly recognisable - even to the very young - as the character from night garden and I was very happy with my purchase. I was going to buy other characters in time - but then it came to bedtime and I realised there is no off switch for the (quite loud) iggle piggle (at least not that I can find). This is a huge oversight in a toy for toddlers. Most musical toys for babies and toddlers have a switch to lower and turn off the sound, firstly because toddlers can play the tunes incessantly and secondly not to disturb sleepy/sleeping toddlers who are clinging to their new best friend.Are parents supposed to unscrew the back and remove the batteries to stop the tune playing at every squeeze? Very disappointing. Will probably not add to collection if others toys are similarly manufactured.

Great Fun!
I brought this for my sons 1st birthday & he loves it! It does recommend that its for 18 months plus which is probably correct as my son has problems pushing its belly to hear the sounds but we have great fun and lots of giggles when i help him with it. As he gets a bit older he will be able to do it himself. Its a nice sized toy and very soft and durable. A great buy...have already brought the Makka Pakka to match.
