So Cute !
I initially bought this item for myself purely out of interest as it was reduced so much. It was so cute all my family and friends wanted one too !
It has a large range of phrases and the animation, although a little noisy, is good too. Would not have paid RRP but at this price its a bargain.

Fun for Kitchen-lover
I think that it is a nice toy if you pay the sale price (8,80 UK L) for it. The standard price (29,99) is too much. It's fun but only if the child or the adult is a kitchen/cooking/food lover. Since it only dances and speaks the phrases, there is no much fun if you didnt like food, cooking, eat, etc.
Personally, I'm happy to both it. I suggest rechargeable batteries but it comes with 4 standard batteries so you have time to buy them in the future.
(sorry for my bad english, it's my 3rd languages ;-) ).

P.S.: Little Remy speaks in English but obviously some words are in French since the film was in Paris and Remy is a FRENCH RAT! :-P If I remember correctly there is only one or two phrases in french and one of these is "Bon apetit!" (have a good meal)

Great toy for the price
I saw this bargain toy on Amazon just before Christmas, and ordered it because my 3 year old had seen the film Ratatouille recently. It has been a hit since it was opened on Christmas day. It has a number of phrases and it does a little stirring action to music. It also has a sniffing action which is quite amusing.

It has little educational value, although I suppose it fosters an interest in cooking? It is pretty durable - has been dropped a number of times with no breakages so far....
I have no regrets about this purchase.
