Clear and Logical
This is an excellent publication. The book is well illustrated in colour and it is written in a logical and sequential way. Good summaries of topics which can be used as a quick reference as well as useful recommendations on ideal preference settings. My version of NX2 now runs so much faster after I followed the advice on cache settings.
Highly recommended to anybody who has NX2 and who wants to maximise the potential of this software.

Nikon Capture NX2
Comprehensive and relatively easy to follow instruction manual for NX2. The cd that came with my camera was actually NX1.3 although you need to make some allowances this book is more instructive than that for the earlier NX1.0 version and of course its better if you intend to upgrade to NX2 in the future. Recommended.

Really accessible book to speed your way through Capture NX2
The NX2 manual is a chore, I bought this book quickly after having got the software and I don't think I've looked at the manual since. In fact it is one of few books of the genre that I've read virtually every page and has helped me quickly get the most from the software. Workflow advice is good and it is loaded with practical tips. NX2 itself has some foibles, certainly more that Photoshop, which the book helps you with and I now use NX2 whenever possible in preference to the Adobe offering unless I absolutely must use my favourite plug-in or need some particular deformation.

Nikon should just pay this guy to write their manual. If you are buying NX2 then save time and drop this in your basket at the same time. If you already have the software then I guess this why you are reading this review! Verdict: no brainer at the price to quickly work your way into NX2.
