Short but fun
I dont know why people are moaning, I loved this game it plays well, it really felt like war, yeah it is quick to complete but thats ok just play it then sell it no problem.
It also has a fun Golden eye 4 player mode which 3 gaming options which works well
highly recommended
A great addition to your wii collection...
First I'd like to tell you the negatives of this game (there are few).
1. The game is not very long.
2. If you don't master the controls it will be very hard to play (I was quite confused in the first level).
Now the positives
1.The landscapes are fantastic.
2.Unique feeling of being in the battles courtesy of the wii remote.
3.Excellent sound thanks to the real-time allies that shout commands and info on the enemies.
4.The controls are great once you've got the hang of them (twisting the nunchuk to zoom in is awesome).
Altogether this is a triumph of a game from an excellent series.
Short & Sweet
This game feels rather classic. from the moment your plane gets shot out the sky(as you seem to every mission) you can land where you want using the ingenious controls. the wiimote makes this game very immersive.
i reconmend swiching off the 'turn 180' fuction on the nunchuk, as it often happens when you try to re-load. also hitting a German with you rifle at close range is very hard to do, and you often end up re-loading by accident.
the available guns are good, slightly limited but there wernt immence weapon ranges back then for average joe. aiming was fun & effective.
AI isn't the best ive seen, but is able to give an enjoyable game.
i would reconmend doing it on Hard or at least Normal, as recruit is painfully easy.
and here is the major grip: game length.
sureley they could have made a few more levels? OR A CAMPAIN WITH THE yANKS AND ANOTHER FOR THE red DEVILS? north AFRICA PREHAPS? but no. it took about 4 hours to compete, even though the last levels are very long, and there is NO SAVING inbetween mission, which rather annoyed me.
i had also assumed that more than 6 or so levels could be unlocked in multiplayer. even Goldeneye managed about 30 levels, and Perfect Dark had so many more options and variables. it had Bots to play agianst for a start.
no online too, which was a let down
so a little disappointing, but i would pay £20/£25 for it, no more.
