Customer Reviews

easy to use and fun5
I brought this game with medal of honor vanguard, I wasnt sure what to expect as the reviews had more bad then good. It took me about 10 minutes to get used to the gun and how the buttons work but after that it was real easy to use and fun. It kind of makes you feel like you are in the game. The trigger mechanism works fine as when you pull the trigger, the bullets come out as soon as you press it, no laps with the trigger. Also it is very comfortable to hold but sometimes it gets a little bit hard to press the c button as the nunchuk doesnt click into place. But on the whole this wii gun is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.

Poorly designed1
This gun comes with a 'realistic gun sound', meaning every time you pull the trigger, it makes an annoyingly loud 'click'.

It has a sturdy design, but also has some very serious flaws:

The gun didn't work out of the box for me.

The trigger mechanism was too far back, so the B button was always being pushed. You can adjust it so that the wii-mote is slightly further back, so it works... sort-of.

Another very major problem is that the trigger sticks. The spring which returns the trigger mechanism after you have shot something is far too weak. This can be made better by opening the gun up, and replacing the spring. I did this, and even now its still slow between shots.

If you want to disable the clacker (realistic gun sound), then you will need to jam something in the mechanism while you have it open.

These are the sorts of things you will need to do before the product even works.

All in all, a great dissapointment!
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

How you could pass this off as a gun is beyond me ????1
Being as i have just bought resident evil umbrella chronicles and have ghost squad on order i though i would be a good idea to order a wii zapper. Being as most the u.k at the time was out of stock i though i would get the logic 3 zapper it looked good in the pic so i though i would get it. But when i came to use it for the 1st time i was very unhappy the product i got was no where near the same as the picture that was advertising the product and i found that the gun was very uncomfterble to hold when i started to play. I set up the wii gun as advised in the in-game manual. When i started to play the actual game i pulled the trigger to shoot but nothing happens after a couple more pulls of the trigger i was obvious that this was not got to shoot so i tried different methods to get the gun the shoot in-game but it was quite clear that the makers of the gun had no idea what they were doing the trigger mechanism dose not even connect with the b button on the nun-chuck. This product is a very poor even for logic 3's standards. Your better off using a banana with your wii remote mushed into it get the official zapper don't make the same mistake as it did.........
