Great book, worth having
I'm a big fan of Bill Hurter, occasionally some of his books overlap in content, but that's to be expected. Existing Light gives good solid info in a no nonsense and readily digestable manner and is suitable for all levels of photographers. Highly recommended.

Very Useful
I would highly recommend this book to photographers both novice and professional. Well written, balanced and unpretentious, this contains many skilled images the techniques of which are actually explained properly and in some detail. A valuable addition to the library of anyone with more than a passing interest in portraiture.

Fantastic
This book has some fantastic explanations and inspiring images. It has been really useful and one that I always come back to before shoots. Highly reccomended.
