The Cheat to Lose Diet - easy as 1-2-3.5
I was part of the test group for this diet and picked up the book recently. Very simple instructions on what to do and why the diet works. Works on the basis of carbohydrate rotation so you do get to eat all the normal foods during the week BUT have them timetabled to certain days. One day a week eat WHATEVER you want. a MINIMUM OF 3 X 20MIN are recommended with weight training as optional extra which IMO is a really good idea. Myself and my wife have both lost 3 stones each within a 4 month period. Very highly recommended on my part and well within everyones capability to take part in.

not bad3
I'm about to turn 43 and have been struggling for years to get back in shape before it is too late. Getting back in shape means that at least 60% of the job is dieting.

This book has good information and explains many things and the overall goal is to give a solution to many people having the same problem I have.

The thing is that following this plan it is not sufficient to get back where we were. I'm talking at least for myself: to achieve some really tiny but consistent results I have to struggle as a fighter with 6 times a week heavy work-out plus a strict yet abundant diet.

There might be a lot of persons which have achieved good results by following this book directions, but when you are around the fourthies, the body slowly enters its natural irrevesible slope which can only be counterveiled by harder and harder discipline.
So, in my humble opinion, the book fails to address people at my age that he/she has to do much, much work to get in a decent shape.

In a word, I would stick to the old saying: no pain, no gain.
And as far as I know, the 95% of the books I have read covering this matter don't like this saying because it could discourage the reader, thus not sell many copies.
Nevertheless, my opinion is that there isn't another way for this.

Besides of that, I would suggest its reading since the info about insulin and other body functions are explained very well

Excellent book4
This is a really good book and really good way for loosing way for someone who was never able to loose weight using typical diets. This one definately works for me. Highly recommended.
