The best way to understand change
In this book I found the clearest view on nlp transformation world. It's a beautiful description of how you can move from the present state of suffering to the desired state. It teaches you how to manipulate all the resistences that beliefs can oppose to your transformation. It gives you many useful exemples about changing a single belief, a system of beliefs and conflicting beliefs. You have to free a place in your personal library for this book.
Not what it says on the tin
In a very few words, as the title of this review suggests, this book is NOT about NLP. It is about Robert Dilts' idea which he calls by various names - "logical levels", "neurological levels", "neuro-logical levels", and so on. None of which belong within genuine NLP.
And you don't have to take my word for it. John Grinder invited Dilts to describe how his so-called logical levels model fitted into the field of NLP over five years ago. And as far as I know, Dilts still hasn't provided an explanation.
In reality the models Dilts describes are neither logical, nor do they deal with genuine "levels", and the claims about the alleged relationship between the models and the functions of the brain are so ludicrous as to make any genuinely knowledgeable psychologist weep.
The best advice I can give is: Save your money, and save a tree. A one star rating is two too many.
