Lightweight plastic chips
Lets face it, the clay chips are bloody expensive (on the whole) and the 7g heavy plastic ones are still quite pricey considering that you need a few hundred if there is going to be a game with more than 5 or 6 of you.
I'll be honest, compared to the pro-weight ones (or even the 7g ones) these are noticably inferior HOWEVER, taken on their own merit these are good value for money.
I would rate these as perfect for occasional players or people who are new and don't want to dive in paying a lot of money for a clay set. Another good point is the quantity/per colour as a lot of sets have equal numbers of each colour which personally I don't agree with (you should have lower numbers of the colours that are to be the higher values).
The only bad thing I would say is that when stacked they do have a tendency to topple easy which can be a pain in the backside.
I'd say go for these if you are new or an occasional player.
cheap as chips?
These are little more than glorified tiddlywinks, alright if all you want are counters, but, spend a little more and get chips that look and feel pleasing. "Professional Poker Chips In Tin" cost me £9 but are much much better value IMHO
poker chips
these chips have successfully developed the abilities of my children in basic maths and also the stern mindset for a professional poker player. As an avid player of poker and frequent user of the Amazon network I believe this toy provides excellent educaional value
