Product Description

I'm Annabel. I'm the girl who has it all. Model looks, intelligence, a great social life. I'm one of the lucky ones. Aren't I? My 'best friend' Sophie is spreading rumours about me. My family is slowly falling apart. It's turning into a long, lonely summer, full of secrets and silence. But I've met this guy who won't let me hide away. He's one of those intense types, obsessed with music and totally unafraid of confrontation. He's determined to make me listen. Will I ever find the courage to tell him what really happened the night Sophie and I stopped being friends? Captivating, emotionally turbulent, unputdownable teenage fiction – the natural step up for older Cathy Cassidy fans.

Very, very good.4
i'l be honest, i judged this book by its cover, when I saw it i was instantly attracted to its unusual design and had to have it. me and my friend sophie both read this at the same time and loved it. its the story of a girl who is seemingly lucky but underneath everything shes troubled and unable to let emotions out. then she meets owen. he helps her talk about things, admit a horrible experience and discover the power music has. A truly engaging read for anyone 13+.

Amazing5
I got this book when I was on holiday during the summer, and didn't want to stop reading it!! It was very well written and told a very emotional story, the characters were very believable, and the plot was never really revealed until near the end. There were many different little subplots that you would have thought could get confusing, but they were introduced very naturally.

Many authors when they try to tell a story half with memories and half with the main story fall into a trap where it's all a bucketful of too many memories, but Sarah Dessen didn't go anywhere near that trap. An emotional secret combined with being taught to listen, the book kept me hanging on and wanting to know what happens, and I'd recommend it to anyone 13+.

Brilliant5
When I bought this book I was extremely sceptical about wether I would enjoy it, I wasn't sure it was my thing. However I absolutly loved it. I read it in one go and loved every minute of it and Im still shocked at how much I enjoyed it. Im going to recommend this book to all of my friends because I really felt it was a good read.
