MAnufacturer's description
Music, messaging, entertainment: the new Nokia 5510 means music and fun! This music-playing phone offers everything you want--from access to all your favorite tunes to effortless messaging--right at your fingertips. The Nokia 5510 digital music player plays downloaded files when you're on the move, and the FM Radio keeps you in touch with the best channels, wherever you're at. You can even listen to the Music Player or FM radio while you're playing games or sending messages.

Weird--but cool: the eyecatching split keyboard layout means that the Nokia 5510 is optimised for text messaging, so you can send your messages almost as fast as you can think them. And faster typing with a full keyboard also makes sending WAP e-mail a lot easier. The variety of games and downloadable game levels keeps you entertained wherever you find yourself. If you love music, messaging and entertainment, with the new Nokia 5510, strange is good!

Unique - so Nokia get away with a few oversights...4
There is no phone quite like this one. It plays MP3 files and radio, has a full QWERTY keyboard (allowing much faster messaging, whatever your 3210-owning friends may say) as well as WAP support and all the other stuff you'd expect from a mobile these days. However...unfortunately, Nokia exploit this monopoly position a bit. Overall, the phone is excellent and you won't find another like it, but there are some minor problems which shouldn't really be present in equipment worth over two hundred pounds. You know the noise you get when you leave your mobile near a TV? I think the same thing which causes that acts on the 5510 while you're ripping music directly from a CD - if you have the headphones on, you hear a beeping every few minutes and when you play back the file, it will jump at those points. It's best to send files from a PC via the USB cable, but this isn't perfect either - the software is buggy and has crashed my system several times. Once it forgot it had a driver for the phone and I had to reinstall the whole lot. There is a also a minor problem with naming the tunes - once they're on there, you can't change their names (why???) and when you send them from a PC, often either the artist name or tune name is missing - this gets annoying if you have several tunes by the same artist. You'll have to put up with these irritations though, as this is a great phone in all other respects, and the only one to boast this particular set of features. The faults are balanced out by quality in other areas - the headphones are included with the phone, and feature a microphone so you don't need to hold the phone to your ear to talk while wearing them. You even get a free music CD with the phone, in case you don't have any music of your own! All in all, this phone is great to have and worth the money, even if there are some minor problems with it (you should expect dodgy software with almost any computer peripheral though, no matter how expensive). If you want a mobile phone and an MP3 player, just buy this!

The Greatest Phone For Its Price!!!5
When i purchased this handset, i was overwhelmed by its features
{MP3 Player, WAP etc.) and the shear comfortability of the keyboard. It has never been easier to text!!!

I was so surprised by this phone, in fact, that i haven't stopped using it!!! I even find it better than my Sony Ericsson T300, (watch this section, it might be on here very soon!), with a more user-friendly system. When it comes to phones, this proves Nokia is king!!!

Great Phone for Text Freaks!5
This phone boasts a mini keyboard so that you can text you friends at ultra fast speed. It also has a built in MP3 player so that you can listen to your fav music on the go. This phone has been sold as "SIM Free" , meaning that it is not network dependant, you can use this on any UK network (and anywhere else in the world for that matter)..
Overall it is a well designed piece of kit that is suitable for just about anyone..
