Great portable DVD VCD etc player!
Bought one in Hong Kong (multi region) for use in the car and when on holiday. We connected it to TV in the hotel and Bob's your uncle, full screen viewing of the DVD or VCD! Our TV at home is NTSC as well so we knew whatever DVDs and VCDs we bought we'd be able to do the same thing at home - just connect it up and watch! So really if you haven't got a DVD player and aren't too fussed about surround sound, this could be an ideal piece of kit esp if you haven't got much room at home or don't want and extra piece of electrical equipment in your lounge!
Comes with screw in rechargeable battery and you also get the cigarette lighter cable too for use in the car!
Very light and compact equipment with a really useful remote control - very thin, so again very portable! Best thing about this is you can switch the player off if the kids fall asleep watching it in the car.
Def. prefer it to the conventional type portable DVD player esp in the car as you don't need to worry about accommodating an "L" shaped bit of kit on the back of or between the front seats. It does have a pull out stand if you want to use it on top of a desk/table or other flat surface too.
Next Base DVD Player a great gadget
Bought one for when I went into hospital earlyer this year, I found that the batterys last for 3hours on one charge which is great for that time spent wollowing time away in a hospital bed. And plays NTSC as well which is great and just what the doctor ordered, I was the star attraction.
Next Base DVD portable
this player is the mutts nutts. but there is one small problem. The screen is only 480*234 so its not a high res picture. the films are watchable on it and should give many hours of happy viewing. also I find myself having to change the colour and brightness for every film i play on it which is a problem...
got mine from anothe rshop for 2hundard and 49 pounds uk. gadget shop with battery etc cool
