Good value for a camera phone
I upgraded to the Motorola C550 from my old nokia 3310 a year ago as I wanted a camera phone and this one seemed to be the best value for money. It's a good phone and has lasted well, but there are a few bad points.
- The camera is OK but not the best quality, especially if you don't have good natural light.
- The screen is very small, which isn't too big a problem most of the time but it's a bit too small for viewing pictures.
- The buttons are very small and close together, and quite stiff to press.
- There are a lot of menu options and too many buttons to press before you get where you want to be.
But of course, it also has many good points.
- It's great value for a camera phone.
- It's small and lightweight.
- It has interchangeable fascias, so if it gets scratched you can replace the cover (although unlike some nokia models it can be hard to find fascias and there aren't a big selection).
- It has good quality polyphonic ringtones and quite a large memory for storing photos and downloading new ringtones.
- It has handy features such as alarm, calculator, vibrate, loud, quiet and silent modes, and predictive text.
Overall, if you want a camera phone with a few extras at a great price, go for this!
