Chilled out puppies
I first saw this product in an in-flight magazine en route to the USA. When I got back home I searched high and low for them here. I have 2 dogs, one of whom is disabled, with a crippled foreleg. She gets very easily overheated at any time of year, but especially in the summer. She also needs a cushioned surface to lie on to protect her joints from more damage. She took to the first cooler like a duck to water; no messing! My other dog has never known anything else; he was raised with them from being a tiny pup - he is particularly grateful for his cooler at the end of a long day at a dog show, or after a good long walk. I now have 4 coolers - 2 in the travel crates and 2 in the house. At dog shows I take a cool bag and put the spare coolers in there so they have cool coolers when we return to the car at the end of the day.
These are great things - I am SO impressed with them; they stand up to a lot of wear - and after 3 years constant use are nearly as good as new. I do not understand why they are not more readily available or widely recommended. I wouldn't be without them EVER again!

Cool bed but a bit heavy
I bought this to go in my car to keep my dog cool on hot summer drives. It works really well and he loved it right from the start but when filled with the 10lt suggested it was quite heavy. Notherless does exactly what it said a great idea for those of us without aircon!

Great
This product is great, the dogs love it and I use it myself sometimes when it's really hot.
Have had no problems with it at all, although I only put in about two thirds of the quantity of water it instructed as it would have been too much.
